In July 2019 a team made up of 14 people from Zihuatanejo, Guerrero and Lázaro Cárdenas, Michoacán traveled to Juárez, Chihuahua to reach the Honduran migrants. They were led by Pastor Hilario Rojas Sotelo, Overcomers International Central America Team Leader. Pastors from Tijuana who had worked with Haitian refugees also joined the team, bringing cases of food and water to share with the migrants! The team ministered in migrant shelters, open air services, street outreaches and church services. They established a shelter and planted a church for Honduran refugees!
